What happens when an appointment is modified?

There may be multiple pre-authorization holds depending on the number of modifications made on the existing appointment. However only one charge will occur once the appointment is completed and the remaining pre-authorization holds will be voided. It may take several business days for the holds to be voided depending on your financial institution.
